Our mission is to transform the way professionals develop their skills, and we're seeking an experienced Fractional Chief Technology Officer to lead our technology strategy and oversee the development of our Learning Management System (LMS) and digital platform.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will work closely with our founding team to provide strategic technology leadership, ensure robust architecture decisions, and drive execution with lean resources. This part-time, high-impact role is perfect for senior technology leaders who want to contribute to a dynamic early-stage startup on a flexible basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technology Roadmap: Define and drive the tech roadmap for our 0–1 journey, aligning with business objectives and scalability requirements.
  • LMS Development: Oversee the design and development of the LMS platform and integrations, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant architecture.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and onboard the right technology stack, tools, and vendors to support our growth.
  • Team Building: Build and mentor an initial tech/product team to drive innovation and growth.
  • AI/ML Integration: Advise on AI/ML, personalization, and data-driven features for learner experience, enhancing the overall user experience.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles with a proven track record of building and scaling digital platforms.
  • Hands-on expertise in product architecture, cloud infrastructure, and security, with familiarity with LMS platforms, APIs, and integrations.
  • Ability to work in a fractional / part-time capacity, balancing strategy and hands-on execution.
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills to lead and grow the team.
