Account Manager IT Staffing Job Description

The Account Manager IT Staffing will lead our recruitment and hiring processes, ensuring timely and efficient placement of talent as per clients' requirements.

This dynamic and experienced professional will design and implement recruitment strategies aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement recruitment strategies to meet business objectives.
  2. Oversee the end-to-end recruitment of contract employees.
  3. Manage or oversee the entire recruitment process: job posting, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
  4. Coordinate background checks, reference verification, and offer negotiations according to client needs.
  5. Lead and manage a team of recruiters, coordinators, or talent acquisition specialists.
  6. Set goals, track KPIs, and conduct performance evaluations.
  7. Provide coaching and professional development to improve recruiter effectiveness.
  8. Act as the primary point of contact for internal hiring managers or external clients.
  9. Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather and clarify job requirements, timelines, and contract terms.
  10. Utilize multiple sourcing channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and recruitment agencies.
  11. Employ data and tools (e.g., ATS, CRM) to manage candidate flow.
  12. Supervise recruiters, coordinators, or sources focused on contract staffing.
  13. Build and maintain relationships with third-party vendors or staffing partners involved in contract placements.
  14. Regularly update leadership on recruitment metrics and hiring progress.
  15. Track and report on recruitment metrics: time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source of hire, etc.
  16. Analyze data to optimize hiring processes and resource allocation.
  17. Develop insights to inform future workforce planning.
  18. Implement best practices and stay updated on recruitment trends and technologies.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Any graduate or postgraduate degree.
  • Experience: Minimum 10+ years in contract staffing.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with both clients and candidates.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to assess staffing metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve staffing processes.
  • Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of employment laws and regulations related to contract staffing.
