Job Title: Academic Leader

Overview:

The Academic Leader will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in academic matters, including curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and academic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership in curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and academic planning to ensure academic excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with UGC/AICTE/NAAC/state university guidelines to maintain institutional quality standards.
  • Promote research, publications, and academic innovation among faculty and students to enhance the institution's reputation.

Responsibilities:

  • Academic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement curriculum frameworks that align with institutional goals and outcomes.
    • Collaborate with faculty members to design and deliver courses that promote student learning and engagement.
    • Conduct regular assessments of academic programs to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Administration & Governance:
    • Oversee day-to-day administration, including scheduling, admissions, and examinations, to ensure smooth operations.
    • Supervise the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of faculty and staff to maintain a high-performance culture.
    • Maintain a fair and equitable disciplinary process to address grievances and uphold code of conduct.
  • Quality & Accreditation:
    • Drive accreditation processes for quality enhancement, including NAAC/NBA accreditation.
    • Implement continuous quality improvement initiatives in academics and infrastructure to enhance the student experience.
  • Student Development:
    • Encourage extracurricular activities, co-curricular activities, and skill development initiatives to foster well-rounded students.
    • Establish effective student support systems, including mentorship, counseling, and career guidance services.
  • Industry & Community Engagement:
    • Establish partnerships with industry, universities, and research organizations to enhance the institution's reputation and opportunities for students.
    • Strengthen alumni relations and community outreach programs to foster lifelong connections.
  • Financial & Resource Management:
    • Manage budgets and resource allocation to optimize financial resources and minimize waste.
    • Oversee infrastructure development and maintenance to provide a safe and conducive learning environment.
