Electrical Engineering Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professor to teach and conduct research in the field of Electrical Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong command on subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage students constructively.

  • Job Description:
  • To design and deliver high-quality courses, assessments, and projects that meet the needs of our students.
  • To develop and maintain a strong research profile, including publishing papers, attending conferences, and securing external funding.
  • To contribute to the development of academic programs, policies, and procedures that support student learning and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Academic Teaching:
  • Teach Electrical Engineering courses to undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to promote student learning and engagement.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to ensure student success.
  • Research:
  • Conduct original research in Electrical Engineering, leading to publications in top-tier journals and conferences.
  • Supervise and mentor PhD and MSc students in their research projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from other departments to develop interdisciplinary research initiatives.
  • Servicing:
  • Provide academic advice and guidance to students, staff, and alumni.
  • Participate in departmental and university-wide committees to shape academic policies and procedures.
  • Represent the department at external events, such as conferences and industry meetings.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience in teaching and research in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong track record of publishing research papers in top-tier journals and conferences.
  • Demonstrated ability to secure external funding for research projects.

Working Conditions:

  • The position is full-time and based at our campus in Greater Noida, Delhi/NCR.
  • The successful candidate will be required to work collaboratively with colleagues from various departments and participate in departmental and university-wide activities.
