IT Service Delivery Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT service delivery manager to oversee the efficient and effective delivery of IT services to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IT service delivery strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders and business partners to ensure demand analysis, solution proposal/evaluation, and funding estimates.
  • Work closely with technology teams to ensure timely, within-budget, compliant, secure, and quality delivery of IT services.
  • Run efficient DevOps processes for platforms, products, or systems to ensure availability and optimal performance.
  • Establish governance structures for projects and operations with right stakeholder representation.
  • Track, report, and deliver against agreed success factors and KPIs for various stakeholders.
  • Follow industry trends and emerging practices to drive agility, speed, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues or outages promptly.
  • Implement best practices to prevent system downtime and performance degradation.
  • Manage security controls, such as role-based access control, data encryption, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Prepare the platform for audits, maintaining a secure and compliant environment.
  • Lead a team of IT professionals, including L3 and L2 consultants, administrators, and support staff.
  • Coordinate and oversee the deployment of IT changes, updates, and enhancements.
  • Ensure that IT services remain aligned with business requirements and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.) is preferred.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in IT operations, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT service management.
  • ITIL certifications, such as Certified IT Service Management (CISM), are mandatory.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT service management processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in IT service management tools and technologies.
