Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Documentation Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about creating high-quality technical documentation and have excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and revise military and/or civilian flight documents, aircraft flight manuals, and other technical publications.
  • Lead activities to define, document, and maintain multiple flight crew operations procedures, task lists, operations manuals, and checklists.
  • Develop and maintain specialized knowledge in various areas such as aircraft systems, operations, regulations, technical writing, and document control.
  • Collaborate effectively with subject matter experts, including system engineers, technicians, flight test engineers, pilots, and publications personnel.
  • Ensure clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation is authored, adhering to established processes and standards.
  • Actively interface with illustrators and production personnel to support the development of technical documentation.
  • Proactively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work.
