Job Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Cybersecurity Sales Director to lead and drive the sales strategy for cybersecurity products and services in India.
This role involves building strong relationships with key enterprise clients, developing strategic sales plans, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets for cybersecurity products and services in India.
- Client Engagement: Build lasting relationships with CISOs, CTOs, and other decision-makers to promote cybersecurity solutions.
- Pipeline Management: Own the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to deal closure, ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify client needs, assess competitor activities, and align solutions with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- Solution Positioning: Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to design and present tailored cybersecurity solutions, demonstrating strong technical acumen.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product management, and technical teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings and customer needs.
- Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote cybersecurity solutions.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to company policies while maintaining accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
Requirements and Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in cybersecurity sales or IT solution sales within India.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
Tech Knowledge:
- Strong technical understanding of cybersecurity technologies, including NGFWs, SIEM, cloud security, identity and access management, endpoint protection, and emerging technologies like AI-driven threat detection and zero trust frameworks.
- Ability to discuss and demonstrate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
