
Key Business Development Specialist

As a Strategic Vendor Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering on a strategy for managing Amazon vendors. You will interface internally with leaders from our Retail and Vendor Services teams to drive the performance of strategic vendor partners at Amazon.
The ideal candidate will be customer-centric, driven, creative, and possess excellent analytical skills. You will conceive, create, and analyze a wide range of marketing and site merchandising efforts to grow vendor traffic, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue on Amazon.
Responsibilities include:
- Measuring success by the performance of internal teams on input metrics and impact of vendors on creating a great customer experience for buying consumers
- Partnering with the Retail Category Team to manage vendor relationships by championing vendor needs at Amazon
- Building communication channels at all levels, setting proper expectations, providing clear status communications, and managing towards a growth plan for vendors
- Executing on a strategic account plan that delivers on key business opportunities and relevant KPIs for vendors and Amazon
- Working with internal Amazon teams/vendors to improve operational aspects of their business in providing a great consumer experience
- Conducting deep dive analysis on handled issues for vendors and publishing recommendations and action plans based on data to improve vendor experience
- Providing thought leadership around planning, roadmaps, and execution
- Establishing long-term partnerships with key vendor partners
- Supporting the launches of new programs, categories, and features
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Understanding of and passion for e-commerce
- Language preference - Proficiency in Arabic
- Work experience preferred (5+ years) with relevant experience in Vendor management, Sales, post-sales, Account Management, and Business Development in managing B2B Business
- Exposure to retail buying, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, marketing, or e-commerce
- Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage business 'by the numbers'
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lean Six Sigma experience
- MBA/PGDM qualification
