Main Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a skilled Reservation Executive to join our team at Accor Hotel.

Key Duties:

  • Administration:
    • Maintain a smooth and coordinated working relationship with different departments.
    • Ensure that team members adhere to Human Resource policies.
  • Customer Service:
    • Maintain and update guest profiles on a regular basis.
    • Interact with guests and enable the team to understand their requirements.
  • Financial:
    • Ensure high levels of room sales through effective upselling.
    • Adhere to Accor financial procedures.
    • Optimize room occupancy within agreed overbooking policies.
    • Balance accounts on a daily basis.
  • Operational:
    • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and policies.
    • Optimize room occupancy within agreed overbooking policies.
    • Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls promptly and courteously.
    • Ensure all calls are handled according to Resa Vision training.
    • Verify the grooming and hygiene of the team.
    • Conduct a briefing for the Reservation team.
    • Communicate relevant information to the FOM.
    • Prepare the reservation team for rate queries and train them accordingly.
    • Practice up-selling of rooms.
    • Ensure the team strives to achieve budget and departmental goals.
    • Address guest special requests.
    • Ensure timely communication of airport pick-ups and drops to the concierge chief.
    • Mark VIP guests on the system.
    • Verify that the Opera system does not contain duplicate guest profiles.
    • Ensure field data in Opera aligns with guest information.
    • Ensure reports are maintained properly.

Qualifications:

Your experience and skills include:

  • A guest-focused personality is essential.
  • Prior experience working with Opera or a related system is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages a plus.
