Geospatial Pre-Sales & Tendering Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to lead end-to-end proposal development, technical bid creation, and tendering processes for national and international geospatial projects.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading proposal and bid management for government and private geospatial tenders, collaborating with technical and sales teams to create tailored solutions for client requirements, and preparing high-quality technical and commercial proposals aligned with tender specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute effective proposal strategies to secure business opportunities in the geospatial sector.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver customized solutions that meet client needs.
  • Analyze and interpret tender documents, eligibility criteria, and contract clauses to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
  • Engage in pre-bid meetings, client interactions, and clarification rounds to build strong relationships and identify potential risks.
  • Maintain and update bid trackers, proposal templates, and documentation libraries to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support business development teams in client presentations and solution pitching to drive business growth.
  • Identify new tender opportunities through online portals and provide market intelligence to inform business strategy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Geography, Remote Sensing, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in geospatial pre-sales, tendering, or proposal management.
  • Strong understanding of geospatial technologies including GIS, LiDAR, photogrammetry, UAVs, and CAD.
  • Proven track record of preparing winning proposals for government and multilateral-funded projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with bidding portals and Indian public procurement process.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in international bidding.
  • Knowledge of pricing models, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation.
  • Familiarity with ISO documentation and quality management standards.
