Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Communications & Narrative Development: Develop compelling communication strategies and narratives for political, policy, and election campaigns.
  • Digital Strategy & Advertising: Oversee digital advertising strategy and execution using analytics to optimize performance and ROI.
  • Content Ideation & Oversight: Build and lead a team of creators to produce engaging content including Shorts and long-form videos.
  • Channel Growth & SEO: Drive subscriber growth and viewership by optimizing videos for YouTube.
  • Audience Analytics: Analyze audience retention, traffic sources, and demographics using insights to inform future content.
  • Content Innovation: Stay ahead of trends, experiment with new formats, and analyze competitor channels.
  • Creator Collaborations: Identify and build relationships with relevant creators to collaborate on projects.
  • Crisis Communication Preparedness: Develop crisis communication plans ensuring timely and effective response management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Political Acumen: Deep understanding of Indian politics, history, socio-economic issues, and current affairs.
  • Professional Experience: 8-10 years in communications, video production or channel management, ideally in media, PR/communications agency, public affairs, or political/advocacy setting.
  • YouTube Expertise: Expertise in all things YouTube, deep understanding of the YouTube algorithm, content strategy, and SEO.
  • Video Storytelling: Ability to craft compelling political narratives for video, from scripting to guiding the final edit.
  • Project Management: Skilled in managing video production workflows, creative teams, and project timelines.
  • Adaptability & Resilience: Thrives in fast-paced environments with a proactive approach and strong sense of ownership.
  • Proactive & Hands-On Approach: Willingness to roll up sleeves and get work done.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with Analytics Tools: Understanding of YouTube Studio is essential.
