Job Summary

SLR GLOBAL DIGITAL is looking for a motivated GIS Analyst with 6 months to 1 year of experience. The ideal candidate will have practical knowledge in basemap digitization, geospatial analysis, and GIS data management. This is a remote role where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide spatial insights and support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and maintain GIS databases, applications, and geospatial products.

Collect, analyze, and interpret geographic data from various sources (satellite imagery, aerial photographs, maps, etc.).

Create high-quality maps and visualizations to effectively communicate spatial insights.

Conduct spatial analyses, including clustering, proximity analysis, and overlay analysis.

Collaborate with urban planners, engineers, and data scientists to integrate GIS technology into workflows.

Provide technical support and training for GIS software and tools.

Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of GIS data and systems.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Geography, Computer Science, Geoinformatics, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent).

Experience in Basemap Digitization Projects, geospatial analysis, data management, and cartography.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
