Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our legal operations in securitisation, debt documentation, and co-lending structures.

About the Role

This high-impact position is crucial to enabling and supporting our core lending activities.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation for:
  • Co-lending transactions with financial institutions
  • Securitisation transactions – including Pass-Through Certificates (PTC) and Direct Assignment (DA)
  • Debt instruments such as Facility Agreements, Deeds of Hypothecation, Corporate Guarantees, and related security documents

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in these areas and be able to coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide legal support accordingly.

Liaising with external counsels, lenders, and financial institutions to ensure timely and compliant execution of transactions is also key.

The role requires strong legal knowledge and prior exposure in co-lending structures, PTC / DA documentation, debt and borrowing transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement strategies for securing funding through securitisation and debt financing
  2. Maintain relationships with external partners and suppliers to ensure smooth transaction execution
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with lending activities
  4. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the lending industry
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in the lending/financial services space
  • Strong understanding of legal principles and practices
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
