Job Opportunity: System Administrator

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the management, monitoring, and maintenance of our organization's IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of servers, networks, and other IT resources.

This includes supporting macOS, Linux, Ubuntu, and Windows devices, configuring systems, ensuring security compliance, and troubleshooting any issues related to Apple systems and software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Maintain Desktops and Laptops: Ensure seamless operation of macOS-based desktops and laptops, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
  • Configure and Deploy Devices: Use tools like Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Mobile Device Management (Jamf Pro) to configure and deploy Apple devices efficiently.
  • Administer Software Deployment Tools: Manage software installation, updates, and licensing using dedicated tools.
  • Enforce Security Protocols: Implement DLP, MDM, antivirus software, and firewall settings to maintain robust security for Mac systems.
  • Provide Advanced Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end users effectively.
  • Integrate Systems: Integrate macOS systems with Gsuite, file servers, and other network resources smoothly.
  • Monitor Performance and Security: Regularly monitor the performance and security of macOS/Windows devices, networks, and servers using management tools.
  • Maintain Documentation: Keep detailed documentation of system configurations, policies, procedures, and troubleshooting steps up-to-date.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience administering Mac OS, Linux, and Windows in a professional environment.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of macOS architecture, DLP, MDM, EDR, DataCenter, Patching, AWS, networking, and scripting languages.
  • Security Understanding: Understanding of security best practices for macOS systems.
  • Cloud Integration: Knowledge of cloud services and system integration techniques.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues effectively.
