Linux Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Linux infrastructure specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Linux-based infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Linux-based infrastructure solutions
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Linux operating systems
  • Develop and automate administrative tasks using scripting languages
  • Oversee system backups, disaster recovery planning, and data restoration processes
  • Monitor system performance and conduct capacity planning
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project requirements and automation strategies
  • Implement and maintain configuration management tools and infrastructure monitoring solutions
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with Linux operating systems and infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl)
  • Ability to design and implement complex infrastructure solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible) and infrastructure monitoring solutions
