Linux System Administrator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Linux systems engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux system administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Design, implement, and monitor high-performance Linux-based infrastructure to ensure reliability, availability, and scalability.
- Manage and maintain Linux operating systems, including patching, upgrades, and security hardening.
- Develop and automate administrative tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Overseeing and executing system backups, disaster recovery planning, and data restoration processes.
- Proactively monitoring system performance, conducting capacity planning, and tuning systems for optimal operation.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support project requirements, automation strategies, and deployment processes.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Implementing and maintaining configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible) and infrastructure monitoring solutions.
- Ensuring system and data security by managing firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and applying security updates.
- Maintaining documentation for system configurations, procedures, and incident response.
Requirements include:
- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and configuration.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
- Proficiency in system monitoring and logging tools.
