Job Title: Linux Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux systems administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux administration, with expertise in installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Linux systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage Linux servers, including Ubuntu, Oracle Linux, CentOS, Rocky Linux, SUSE, and Redhat Enterprise Linux.
  • Configure and manage network services such as DHCP, DNS, NFS, NIS, FTP, and Samba.
  • Implement and manage backup software to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues, and optimize system resources to improve efficiency.
  • Develop and implement scripts and automation tools using Ansible to streamline system management tasks.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals, including file systems, permissions, and processes.
  • Experience with Azure VM infrastructure management and virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix.
  • Knowledge of logical volumes and physical volumes using LVM.
  • Ability to analyze performance bottlenecks and tune kernel parameters accordingly.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
