Job Title: Block Coordinator

Job Description:

The role of a Block Coordinator is to oversee and coordinate project activities at the block level.

  • Implement project plans as per guidelines at the block and village levels.
  • Collaborate with local government bodies, community members, and district teams to achieve program objectives effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement community mobilization strategies.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor implementation and provide technical support.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports and documentation for the block level.
  • Organize training sessions, meetings, and capacity-building programs for staff and beneficiaries.
  • Maintain accurate records, registers, and documentation in accordance with program requirements.

Eligibility & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 13 years of experience in field-level implementation or coordination work.
  • Familiarity with government schemes, rural governance, and community engagement.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Problem-solving attitude and adaptability.

Requirements:

  • Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and report writing.
  • Ability to ride a two-wheeler and willingness to travel extensively within the block area.
  • Local residency or knowledge of the local language and culture is an advantage.
