Leadership Role: Director of RCM

This leadership position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful operation of offshore billing processes. The ideal candidate will provide strategic guidance, oversight, and operational management to drive revenue cycle performance.

The successful individual will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, building robust processes, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, driving collections, minimizing denials, and mentoring staff to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the vision for RCM operations aligned with company goals and client expectations.
  • Establish policies, procedures, and workflows that optimize revenue cycle performance across various specialties.
  • Collaborate with U.S.-based leadership to ensure client needs, compliance standards, and performance objectives are consistently met.
Operational Management:
  • Oversee the daily activities of the billing team in India, including charge entry, payment posting, accounts receivable calling, denial management, credentialing, and reporting.
  • Implement audit and quality control frameworks to monitor accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Standardize reporting cadence, providing daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards for accounts receivable, denials, collections, and payer trends.
  • Efficiently onboard new clients and practices into billing workflows.
People Leadership:
  • Manage and mentor offshore managers, team leads, and billers to foster accountability and career growth.
  • Build a high-performance culture with clear key performance indicators, evaluation frameworks, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Drive recruitment, training, and upskilling initiatives to maintain high-quality output.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Serve as a liaison between U.S. leadership and offshore teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
  • Participate in client calls, providing updates on revenue performance, denial trends, and improvement initiatives.
  • Proactively identify client risks and recommend process enhancements.
Compliance & Process Improvement:
  • Ensure adherence to U.S. healthcare billing regulations, HIPAA compliance, and payer-specific requirements.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory updates, and payer changes to inform internal SOPs.
  • Leverage technology and automation tools to enhance efficiency.
