Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

About the Role

The organization seeks a seasoned financial leader to drive strategic and operational excellence in finance functions. This individual will oversee all financial activities, ensuring compliance, profitability, and process efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and financial planning for events and catering operations.
  • Leadership and management of accounts, payables/receivables, cost control, revenue optimization, and internal controls.
  • Review and analysis of profit and loss statements, cash flows, and operational metrics specific to events and catering projects.
  • Ensuring statutory compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulations; coordination with auditors and tax authorities.
  • Implementation of best practices, controls, and ERP systems tailored to events and catering.
  • Collaboration with operations and sales teams to plan profitable events, track margins, and control expenses.
  • Support to leadership in decision-making with clear financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Mentorship and supervision of the finance team; driving a culture of continuous process improvement and financial integrity.
  • Management of vendor contracts, payment cycles, and timely disbursements to suppliers and service partners.

Requirements:

  • CA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent, with experience in hospitality/events/catering.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of overall finance experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, compliance, MIS, financial modeling, event/catering cost controls.
  • Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or hospitality ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High integrity and process orientation; experience in audit and statutory reporting.
