Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Reconciliation and Settlements team. This role is instrumental in advancing our mission by empowering merchants to provide a seamless payment experience.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing reconciliation and settlements related activities, ensuring an effective operating model is maintained. Strong technical and analytical skills are essential, as well as the ability to work cross-functionally and develop plans to capitalize on opportunities.

This role requires strong leadership skills, with a focus on managing operational risk and ensuring that any audit points are addressed and cleared in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in banking and merchant settlement and reconciliation, preferably from international payment gateways, fintech, acquiring, or banks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise reconciliation and settlements related activities
  • Process payments and transactions within standardized turnaround times
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement plans
  • Develop and implement projects related to payments and reconciliation
  • Ensure operational risk is managed and addressed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in banking and merchant settlement and reconciliation
  • Relevant work experience from international payment gateways, fintech, acquiring, or banks
  • Graduation from a recognized university, preferably with an accounting background (B.COM)
