Senior Tax Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Indirect Tax Litigation team in Alwar, India.
The successful candidate will provide assistance to clients in responding to tax authorities, prepare replies to notices and appeals, and interact with tax officers. The role requires comprehensive research skills and the ability to identify technical issues with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in responding to tax authorities and preparing replies to notices and appeals.
- Meet with tax officers and represent clients in various judicial forums.
- Conduct comprehensive research on various topics related to indirect tax litigation.
Client Service Delivery/Execution:
- Proactively identify and discuss technical issues with clients while being mindful of firm risk issues.
- Handle tax matters, including preparation of submissions, replies to notices, appeals, and meeting tax authorities.
- Execute work on a multiple client base, assuming near independent responsibility for smaller clients.
Develops Commercial Acumen:
- Stay abreast of firm-wide and competitor activities and general business trends.
- Apply knowledge to deliver solutions to clients and bring value to the client and manager.
Develops Strong Knowledge Base:
- Stay updated with the latest developments in tax and other laws.
- Contribute to knowledge management activities of the firm.
Requirements:
- Qualified CA/LLB
- 0-2 years of experience in Indirect Tax would be preferred (GST, Customs, etc.)
