Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tax strategies that align with organizational objectives.
  • Lead a team in monitoring tax governance, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure effective audit completion.
  • Ensure timely execution of tax and regulatory compliance activities, maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Monitor tax provisions, accounts, and positions to minimize risks and opportunities for tax leakage.
  • Conduct research and due diligence on tax matters to support effective representation and documentation.
  • Coordinate the closure of audit points, submitting complete and accurate schedules and documents.
  • Provide timely responses to engagement consultations and safeguard engagement documents from tax and regulatory perspectives.
  • Maintain robust internal controls to prevent errors and fraud, ensuring the integrity of tax and regulatory reporting.
  • Review and update policies and procedures to reflect the latest tax and regulatory framework.
