Senior Tax Manager

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team in a Senior Tax Manager role.

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of accounting processes and the ability to identify and address tax-related issues. Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this position.

  • Tax Compliance: Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, assessments, and litigation.
  • Audit Management: Represent the company before Tax Authorities and manage various audit issues.
  • Tax Payments and Returns: Handle advance tax payments, tax returns, reports, and necessary paperwork.
  • Complete Tax Compliance: Ensure complete tax compliance, particularly for Direct Taxes (DT) and Indirect Taxes (IDT), with a focus on Goods and Services Tax (GST).
  • GST ITC Reconciliation: Perform GST ITC reconciliation and reversal of non-eligible ITC.
  • Tax Advisory: Coordinate with tax counsel for advisory and opinion services.
  • Case Preparation: Prepare facts and cases for professional opinions.
  • Stakeholder Support: Provide assistance to both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Financial Reviews: Conduct periodic reviews of financial matters from a tax perspective.
  • Client Relationships: Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients through regular engagement and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • CA Qualification: Hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
  • Relevant Experience: Possess 7 to 9 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax management.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Have extensive knowledge of accounting processes and tax regulations.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Client Relationship Building: Be able to maintain and develop client relationships.
  • Tax Management Experience: Have experience in managing tax compliance, assessments, and litigation.
