Key Account Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Business Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow our business with key accounts.

Job Description:

The Key Account Business Development Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Developing a deep understanding of key accounts across various government verticals, segments, and departments;
  • Understanding payment industry processes, including offline payment solutions (EDC, SD, and DQR) and online payment solutions (payment gateway);
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CXOs and senior management;
  • Negotiating commercial terms with merchants and leveraging strong numerical and negotiation skills;
  • Planning annual and monthly business development pipelines and go-lives;
  • Providing pre-sales and post-sales handling, training, and acting as the main point of contact between merchant/client and internal team.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 7 years of overall experience, with 3-4 years of relevant payments and industry experience;
  • Strong verbal and written communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to close complex enterprise negotiations;
  • Demonstrated strength in relationship management, with experience dealing with CXOs of strategic partners and merchants;
  • An MBA from a recognized institution with a strong academic record;
  • A passion for business development and sales;
  • A solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to work seamlessly with product and tech teams.
