Accounts Receivable Associate

This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to accounts receivable and credit collections. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting functions, including collection experience in an MNC.

  • Manage deadlines and schedules, work independently, and thrive in high-volume, fast-paced environments
  • Place collection calls to customers in assigned queues, verify and process all lien waivers, and implement collection plans for assigned accounts
  • Resolve billing disputes as necessary, communicate customer issues to operations and sales teams, and recommend account blocks or legal action where necessary
  • Prepare customer statements and financial reports, ensure timely and accurate cash application, and process credit card payments and arrange payment plans with delinquent customers
Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, or related financial field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting functions, including collection experience in an MNC
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as analytical skills, ability to read and understand standard contracts, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, and experience with SAP or other ERP systems
