We are seeking a Senior Procurement Strategist to lead our procurement efforts.

The ideal candidate will define metrics and monitor supplier performance to ensure continuous improvement. This includes evaluating quality, setting performance benchmarks, and assessing risks associated with supplier selection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive process improvement initiatives to deploy best-known methods in procurement, inventory control, and manufacturing strategies.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to optimize quality and manufacturability of new product parts.
  • Establish goals with suppliers to meet forecasted demand for material delivery.
  • Act as an escalation point to resolve shortages and supply chain challenges.
  • Represent procurement management on cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are satisfied.
  • Work with engineering and suppliers to resolve complex problems and ensure timely delivery of critical materials.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, managing global suppliers on direct and indirect materials and services.
  • Strong knowledge of purchasing agreements and contracting.
  • Experience in developing and improving supplier performance metrics such as OTD, Consignment, and Leadtime.
  • Creative problem-solving capabilities and strong analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Solid written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate cross-functionally.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and ERP systems, with SAP experience being a plus.
