Job Overview:

As a key member of the food preparation team, this role is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities on a workstation in food preparation and cooking for various outlets. The position requires following the direct supervisor's instructions and working collaboratively with galley personnel.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising workstations to ensure smooth operation
  • Assigning duties to employees effectively
  • Controlling overtime and maintaining efficient workflow
  • Ensuring food is prepared and presented according to corporate standards
  • Training junior staff members
  • Conducting inventory and requisitioning supplies as needed
  • Maintaining sanitation and hygiene standards
  • Operating equipment safely

Additional responsibilities include practicing ergonomics, reporting health issues, adjusting temperature controls, seasoning foods, controlling overproduction, participating in cleaning, attending meetings and training sessions, and acquiring knowledge of AWP and vacuum infeed stations.
