Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Operations Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and project management, with experience in driving cross-functional initiatives and financial transformation projects.

The Strategic Operations Director will play a key role in ensuring alignment of finance priorities with business goals, while overseeing the execution of key programs, reviews, and digital initiatives. This includes managing governance calendars, CFO reviews, and tracking critical deliverables across finance verticals (Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, Treasury, Accounts Receivable/Payable, Compliance).

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and monitoring business performance dashboards, highlighting exceptions on financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), risk areas, and compliance gaps. They will also prepare executive presentations, Management Information Systems (MIS) packs, and board decks.

In addition, the Strategic Operations Director will ensure alignment of finance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), risk registers, and program management trackers across all functions. They will track monthly cash flow, profitability improvement plans, and key business metrics with relevant owners.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate periodic cross-functional review meetings and ensure documentation of action items and follow-ups.
