Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Reconciliation and Settlements team. As Deputy Manager, you will play a critical role in advancing our mission of enriching the world through digital commerce and financial services.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled leader to join our Financial Operations Team and make a meaningful impact on our customers' experience.

  • Manage and supervise Reconciliation and settlements related activities to ensure an effective operating model.
  • Process payments and transactions within standardized turnaround times and ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Work cross-functionally to identify opportunities for process improvement and develop plans to capitalize on them.

You will be instrumental in ensuring operational risk is effectively managed and addressed in all aspects of payments and settlement functions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success working in a team-based environment and possess excellent technical and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects related to payments and reconciliation, ensuring timely completion and achievement of objectives.
  • Ensure smooth transition to new systems and processes.
  • Prepare regular management information (MI) and analysis for senior management.

Requirements:

  • Relevant work experience: Preferably from International Payment Gateways, Fintech, Acquiring settlement, and Banks.
  • Years of work experience: Minimum of 5 years of banking experience and proven leadership with predominant experience in merchant's settlement and reconciliation of payment Gateway transactions, refunds, cash management, and nostro reconciliation.
  • Qualification: Minimum of graduation from a recognized University, preferred choice will be from the accounting background (B.COM).
