Rain Industries is seeking a seasoned Internal Audit Manager to join its global team.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to professional excellence.

  • We are looking for an experienced Internal Audit Manager with comprehensive knowledge of audit standards and best practices. This role requires collaboration with business units to ensure alignment on audit observations and finalize action plans.

A key responsibility of this position includes conducting thorough audits and reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive audit programs in line with our audit plan.

  • You will conduct thorough audits and reviews, ensuring compliance with established industry standards and best practices.

  • Collaborate with business units to ensure alignment on audit observations and finalize action plans.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of all audit work papers, adhering to our procedures and audit quality assurance standards.

  • Provide consultative support to business units on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework implementation and Control Self Assessments.

  • Support training programs to enhance control awareness through Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives.

  • Identify and report unusual events, business irregularities, and control violations, participating in forensic audits and fraud investigations as needed.

Required Qualifications

The following qualifications are required:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) certification, along with relevant internal audit experience and/or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation.
  • 7-10 years of internal audit experience.
Preferred Skills

The following skills are preferred:

  • Experience in manufacturing or process industries.
  • Strong understanding of Accounting Standards (Ind AS, US GAAP, IFRS).
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office package, with hands-on experience in database systems.

Performance Metrics

Performance is measured by metrics including timely completion of audit topics, client feedback, risk identification, and recommended improvements.
