The role of the Global New Product Launch Director is a strategic leadership position that requires expertise in planning and executing global product launches. This key individual will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product launches across various portfolio segments.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Lead launch planning, sourcing coordination, and project management to achieve successful execution.

2.Partner with regional leaders and key functions to ensure adherence to new product launch milestones.

3.Drive excellence in launch management by implementing best practices and using dashboards, templates, and tools for efficient planning and execution.

4.Ensure effective communication of launch status across the organization.

5.Develop and maintain integrated launch plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

6.Build strong relationships with stakeholders within and outside the company.

7.Foster talent through coaching, performance management, and setting clear expectations.

8.Oversee a team of planners and launch managers.

9.Provide insights on customer preferences and product potential in target markets.

10.Assess go-to-market strategies and support local teams in customer profiling, target setting, and channel planning.

11.Manage the end-to-end commercial aspects of new product launches, from demand generation to supply planning.

12.Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications:

Education:

o Master's degree or higher (e.g., MS, MBA) in a relevant discipline.

Experience:

o 20+ years in planning, NPL, or a related role in the pharmaceutical industry.

o Proven leadership and management experience, with a track record of influencing cross-functional teams.

Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

o Strong written and verbal communication skills.
