Senior Ocean and Air Freight Leader
","We are seeking an experienced Senior Ocean and Air Freight Leader to drive our business forward in India.
","This is a leadership role that requires strategic vision, ground-floor execution, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. You will be responsible for building and scaling our ocean and air product vertical in India.
","- Based on your experience you'll design, build and price our ocean and air marketplace coverage.
- You will also lead a diverse team of leaders and execute global carrier strategy and development on regional trade carrier strategy.
- Manage yield by leveraging the right carriers, routings, and consolidation strategies.
- You will administer quality management with IN- US Export carriers, driving on-time performance and milestone timeliness.
- Negotiate contracts, fixed allocations, and potentially BSA's, monitoring utilization of capacity.
- Solve customer problems and enhance customer satisfaction through active listening, empathy and understanding their needs.
- 15+ years of prior ocean freight experience at a top freight forwarder or carrier, or 15+ years of supply chain experience and a BA/BS Degree;
- Bias to Action, Process, Structure, and Data;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
- An obsession with client happiness. You succeed when they succeed;
