Job Title: Lead Design Director

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to lead our projects from concept to completion.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs that meet client expectations while staying within budget and timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive concept design, schematic layouts, and design presentations
  • Ensure design aligns with company ethos, sustainability goals, and local building codes (NBC, local DCRs, ECBC)
  • Project Management & Coordination: Prepare and oversee GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, detailed drawings, and tender documentation
  • Liaise with structural, MEP, landscape, and other consultants for timely, coordinated outputs
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and site execution to meet quality standards
  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor junior architects, interns, and drafting staff
  • Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Client & Stakeholder Interface: Attend client meetings, present design proposals, and handle approvals

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Indian building codes & bye-laws, NBC 2016, ECBC, fire norms
  • Construction detailing, materials, and services integration
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask across multiple projects and deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a COA-recognized institution
  • COA registration (mandatory)
