CDGL's Coffee Day Beverages brand is distributed across over 1330+ towns and cities in India, while its Coffee Day Xpress brand operates a network of 280+ refreshment kiosks offering affordable food and beverages for on-the-go customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Zonal Business Managers are responsible for developing and implementing strategic business plans for their designated geographic zones.
- Team Management: They oversee a team of Area or Regional Managers and other staff within their zones, including hiring, training, coaching, and mentoring team members.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Zonal Business Managers drive sales and revenue growth within their assigned zones by working with their teams to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Market Analysis: They analyze market conditions, trends, and competition within their zones to identify opportunities and threats.
- Budget Management: Zonal Business Managers manage budgets, control costs, and ensure financial objectives are met within their zones.
- Relationship Management: They build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders within their designated zones.
- Compliance and Reporting: Zonal Business Managers ensure zone activities adhere to company policies and regulations, providing regular reports to higher management.
- Communication: Effective communication is crucial, involving liaison with senior management, other departments, and teams for smooth operations.
- Problem Solving: Zonal Business Managers address and resolve issues and challenges within their zones, including troubleshooting operational problems.
- Performance Evaluation: They evaluate team member performance and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Continuous Improvement: Zonal Business Managers seek ways to improve operations and processes within their zones.
Desired Candidate Profile:
· Graduation with an MBA from a reputable institution
· 10+ years of experience in the retail industry, preferably in food and beverages or QSR/FMCG
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Strong analytical skills for assessing market conditions and performance metrics
· Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, coaching, and mentoring
· Familiarity with the industry and market trends
· Ability to travel within designated areas
· Strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration
· Capability to adapt to changing market conditions and challenges
· English, Hindi, and local language fluency
