Job Overview:

This is a dynamic leadership role requiring a highly commercial and analytical individual who is also prepared to roll up their sleeves whilst driving the finance function forward for a global business and supporting key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive financial growth, improve financial processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for all accounting related matters, monitor financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met, financial reporting and budgeting, reporting to senior management, review company financial reports and identify opportunities to reduce costs and manage expenses.
  • Responsible for controlling income, cash flow and expenditure, collecting, interpreting and reviewing financial information, producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc., developing strategies that work to minimize financial risk.
  • Responsible for preparing and managing the process of procurement, stock/inventory, maintaining records of debtors and creditors, responsible for payroll management, responsible for preparing and analysing monthly MIS.
  • Responsible for providing ROC compliances, annual filing, incorporation of company etc.
  • Commercial Insight: Provide financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking for both the Indian business and the wider UK/International business.
  • Daily sales reporting, analyse financial data and create/maintain financial models for decision support, report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
  • Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements, represent Finance within the UK Commercial team to ensure that business planning, accounting, and control are integrated into the decision-making process within the Commercial function.
  • Participate in Finance and multi-function project teams, work closely with the CFO and Financial Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.

Person Specification:

  • Strong English language skills, qualified accountant, 5+ years pharmaceutical experience preferable, international company experience, management experience to include liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly analytical, proven track record of delivering results, self-disciplined, results focused with a 'can-do' attitude, strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, flexible approach to work to meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong Excel skills, experience using analytical tools such as Power BI and CRM systems.
