Business Finance Director Position

The Business Finance Director will lead financial strategy and planning for profitable growth across the region, partnering with Sales, Delivery, and Corporate Finance teams. Key objectives include overseeing pricing for complex deals, ensuring optimal sizing, compliance, and margin safeguards.

  • Owning end-to-end P&L for assigned business units; review financial performance monthly with Business/Function Heads.
  • Lead annual budgeting cycle and monthly forecasting exercises, incorporating revenue, costs, FX, and regional dynamics.
  • Deliver monthly profitability dashboards and variance analyses; recommend actions to improve margins and cash flow.
  • Provide actionable financial insights to business leaders; support strategic planning, GTM initiatives, and investment decisions.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Possess strong expertise in financial management, pricing strategy, and advanced financial modeling.
  • Have deep understanding of IT/technology services business models, including managed services and outsourcing.
  • Show proficiency in MS Excel, financial systems, and reporting tools.
  • Hold qualified CA certification.
  • Boast 8–12 years of progressive experience in business finance roles within medium/large IT/software/services organizations, with proven exposure to Global markets.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Monitor OPEX, enforce budget controls, and ensure adherence to financial discipline across units.
  • Track market/competitor movements in EMEA and highlight financial levers to strengthen positioning.
