Job Summary

The Operations Manager oversees end-to-end process management for transaction data and brokerage flows.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage acquisition, validation, and systematic handling of client investment transactions from multiple product providers.
  • Reconcile transaction feeds with internal systems and resolve discrepancies.
  • Drive automation for transaction processing, ensuring scalability and minimal manual intervention.
  • Maintain a database of brokerage rates and incentives received from product providers.
  • Analyze rate structures and provide inputs to the Product team.
  • Participate in creating a smart payout rate structure balancing profitability with market competitiveness.
  • Track competitor rates and generate analysis.
  • Lead monthly/quarterly reconciliation of brokerage/commission receipts from manufacturers, ensuring alignment with business generated.
  • Analyze variances in brokerage received vs. expected and initiate corrective actions with product partners.
  • Escalate internally in case of delays in reconciliations.
Key Requirements
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in transaction operations, finance, or back-office roles in BFSI/financial products distribution.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and process improvement projects.
  • Familiarity with brokerage calculation systems, advanced Excel, and MIS reporting.
  • Demonstrated analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
