**Job Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Learning Experience Designer to join our team. As a Learning Experience Designer, you will be responsible for applying instructional design concepts and methodologies in the conceptualization and development of learning solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design and adult learning principles, with experience in designing learner-centered training programs and developing related training materials.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct learning needs analysis to uncover learning gaps
- Gather data using different methods, including coordination with experts and facilitation of stakeholder interviews
- Complete various types of analysis, as may be required and appropriate given project requirements
- Learner analysis, task analysis, performance analysis, context analysis, content analysis
- Summarize gaps discovered during analysis
- Define project goals and desired learning outcomes
- Define required knowledge, skills, and behaviors to close gaps identified during analysis
- Formulate project goals, terminal learning objectives, enabling objectives, determine measures of success, define evaluation strategies
- Distribute learning outcomes to appropriate units of learning, map learning experiences and/or interactions to desired learning outcomes, align content to prescribed objectives
- Present analysis findings and recommendations, gather stakeholder feedback and enhance recommendations as needed
**Learning Experience Development:**
- Write learning content for various delivery methods, including storyboards, scenario maps, facilitator notes and slides, formative and summative assessments, static materials to supplement training
- Work with content writers to write storyboards & training copy aligned to learning objectives & stated business objectives
- Conduct SME consultations, as needed, to gather learning content and validate their accuracy
**Learning Experience Implementation:**
- Coordinate with LMS administrators for course setup, configuration, uploads, and reporting requirements
- Work with the LXD manager to communicate with stakeholders and their teams to ensure their readiness to deliver learning solutions
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or closely related field
- 2-3 years experience in designing learner-centered training programs and developing related training materials
- Working knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, and evaluation principles and practices
- Experience drafting measurable goals and objectives, particularly in the field of training
- Experience developing learning assessments
