Job Title: Strategic Workforce Analyst

Overview:

This role involves working closely with HR specialists and analytics colleagues to enhance reporting functionality and delivery of insights.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strong working relationships with HR specialists and analytics colleagues regionally and globally.
  • Collaborate with local colleagues to understand the nuances of HR reporting and data usage.
  • Be creative and proactive in providing people analytics and related metrics, and in constructing analytical tools for use by HR Advisors and business managers.
  • Understand and support the development of People Analytics datasets from underlying HR source systems and other related data sources.
  • Provide support, reporting, and insight on various monthly and ad-hoc HR processes.
  • Identify opportunities for consolidation across different requests.
  • Provide ad-hoc analytics and reporting related to various HR processes and workforce for the Global People Analytics team.
  • Summary Level Headcount and Run-rate reporting.
  • Attrition analytics – reporting and insights on leavers and turnover percentage for a given population over a period.
  • Requests for new hire data – details of new joiners for a given population over a period.
  • Diversity analytics – insights and reporting on progress against inclusion and diversity strategy.
  • Compensation analytics for a given population.
  • Periodic reporting and analysis of key hires and leavers with related cost run rate impact across the business.

Key Performance Indicators:

On-time delivery of reports and dashboards. Accuracy of reports developed. Process documentation. Automation and process improvement initiatives.

Technical/Functional Skills:

Experience with project work or managing processes. Strong planning, organizing, and reviewing skills. Decision-making and influencing skills. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent MS Excel and Macros skills. Experience with PowerPoint. Experience with creating visualizations and dashboards using common BI tools. Experience with Python programming, Machine Learning, Predictive modeling preferred. Experience with Alteryx or SQL preferred but not required.

Interpersonal Skills:

Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and maturity. Ability to understand business requirements and judge, respond, plan, and deliver accordingly. Ability to work with a varied set of individuals across levels. Ability to initiate and develop positive business relationships. Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with extraordinary attention to detail and accuracy.
