Job Title:

Zonal Head - Collections

The Zonal Head will hold ultimate responsibility for all collection activities and performance across a designated large geographical zone.

This role requires a visionary leader who can set strategic direction, optimize processes, and build robust collection capabilities to achieve zonal recovery goals.

We have openings in 7 locations: Karnataka, Gujarat, UP, Delhi, West Bengal, Rajasthan, and Punjab.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop comprehensive collection strategies for the entire zone, aligned with national objectives.
  2. Lead and guide a team of Regional Heads/State Heads and their underlying collection structures to deliver aggressive recovery targets.
  3. Monitor and analyze zonal collection performance, identifying key drivers and areas for strategic intervention.
  4. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards across the zonal collection operations.
  5. Drive operational efficiencies through process improvements and best practice sharing.
  6. Manage zonal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness of collection efforts.
  7. Identify and retain top collection talent within the zone.
  8. Foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
  9. Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance collection outcomes.

Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree (MBA preferred) in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  2. 10 To 12 years of senior leadership experience in debt collection, with a significant tenure in managing multi-regional or zonal operations.
  3. Proven expertise in developing large-scale collection strategies.
  4. Extensive knowledge of digital lending landscape, credit risk, and collection technology.
  5. Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  6. Strong understanding of data analytics and its application in collection optimization.
  7. Proficiency in data analysis tools and advanced MS Excel.
