Procurement Strategist

 

Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Strategist to lead our electronics procurement efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring electronic components while ensuring quality standards and regulatory compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sourcing: Identify and develop relationships with global suppliers and manufacturers to procure high-quality electronic components.
  2. Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of potential suppliers based on their technical capabilities, pricing, lead times, and quality control processes.
  3. Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, competitive pricing, and exceptional service.
  4. Purchase Order Management: Manage RFQs, vendor negotiations, purchase orders, and contract terms to optimize cost efficiency and minimize supply risks.
  5. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and supply chain risks to proactively mitigate shortages or delays.
  6. Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement/supply chain for electronics or hardware.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components, PCBs, and sensors.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, problem-solving skills.
