We are seeking a highly analytical professional to fill the role of Business Intelligence Analyst. As a key member of our data analysis team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by analyzing and interpreting complex data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Assist in validating input data received from clients for modeling work.
  • Work with teams to resolve issues in the Modelling tool.
  • Maintain tariff models with timely updates for price, logic, or other enhancements as per client requirements.
  • Build and deliver compelling demonstrations/visualizations of products.
  • Contribute to the success of a rapidly growing and evolving organization.
  • Participate in sprint planning and other ceremonies, working passionately towards fulfilling committed sprint goals.
  • Validate and test all changes to models using regression and calibration processes, investigating calibration failures and resolving issues.
  • Facilitate necessary approvals while releasing updated models to production as per audit requirements, documenting changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of industry experience in an analytical field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Statistics, or a related subject area.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel functions and pivot tables.
  • Understanding of relational database concepts and familiarity with SQL.
  • Basic to intermediate Python programming concepts and hands-on experience.
  • Experience in automating workflows using Python.
  • Good Analytical and Logical skills.
  • Demonstrable aptitude for Innovation and Problem-solving.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in the Energy Industry and familiar with basic concepts of Utility (electrical/gas) tariffs.
  • Knowledge with tools like Microsoft Excel macros, Power Query.
  • Familiarity with writing programs using Python or Shell scripts.
