Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Intelligence Analyst located in Pune. The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data, developing data models, creating dashboards, and using business intelligence tools. The role involves conducting business analysis to support data-driven decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Business Intelligence Analyst with 3 to 5 years of experience in retail and eCommerce domains. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset with hands-on expertise in data analysis, testing, research, and BI reporting tools. Exposure to AI-driven tools and the ability to interpret complex datasets to generate actionable insights is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets to support business decisions in retail and e-commerce.
  • Perform data validation, testing, and quality assurance on dashboards and data pipelines.
  • Build and maintain BI reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver insights aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct in-depth research on customer behavior, product performance, and market trends.
  • Use AI and automation tools to streamline reporting, analysis, and forecasting tasks.
  • Develop clear documentation and understandably present insights to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in BI/data analysis, specifically in retail or eCommerce settings.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
  • Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
  • Experience with testing data outputs, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google AI, automation scripts) for data processing and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
