To be successful as a Business Intelligence Analyst you should have experience with:

  • Efficient execution of complex research assignments, including writing and submission of proposals/reports.
  • Collection and analysis of information from research of public-domain sources to support on-going investigative, business intelligence assignments.
  • Evaluation of information and sources for accuracy, reliability and relevance in assessing risk.
  • Proactive identification of new sources of information, research tools and approaches, as well as managing of these recourses to achieve the highest quality of reporting.
  • Review, analyses and the assessment of accuracy, reliability and relevance of the information provider by service providers.
  • Creation of research reports in English and where needed, presentations, link charts or diagrams, to represent research and findings.
  • Monitor current events, political decisions and legislative changes to stay abreast of international trends and development, and their potential impact on BI products.
  • Overall case-management, including risk&control framework: conducting controls. Quality management, MIS.
  • Administrative responsibilities for the BI function.
  • The highest level of proficiency in English Language writing is mandatory.
  • Excellent analytical and report writing skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

  • 3 years of experience in conducting research and investigative work is desirable.
  • Specific industry training like investigative journalism, etc. is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to understand banking products and associated risks, robust critical thinking and problem-solving ability, attention to details and analytical skills.
  • Understanding root-cause / identifying risks and red flags.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Other language skills would be a significant asset.

This role is based in Pune.

Purpose of the role

To provide a primary liaison service between the business, technology, and security functions. In order to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information, and support the mitigation of security risk.

Accountabilities

  • Collaboration with stakeholders to understand their security requirements in business processes and IT projects, to enhance overall risk management.
  • Execution of risk assessments to identify and prioritise potential cybersecurity threats that could impact the banks operations and data and guide the implementation of mitigation strategies and communicate findings to relevant findings to relevant senior stakeholders.
  • Collaboration with business units to develop and implement security policies and procedures for the banks operations aligned to the risk management framework.
  • Management of the implementation, testing and monitoring of security controls across the banks IT systems to ensure the effectiveness of controls and mitigation of risk.
  • Execution of training content and sessions to educate employees, enhance cybersecurity awareness and provide guidance on safe online practices.
  • Management of complex cybersecurity incidents by collaborating with IT teams and response experts to effectively resolve cases through analysis, expertise support and project supervision.
  • Identification of emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and new technologies to address potential risks by advocating the adoption of new security solutions.
