Job Title: AWS Data Engineer

We are hiring for a highly skilled data engineer to join our team.

  • Experience: 5-7 years in data engineering, preferably with AWS.

Location: Chennai

Notice period: Immediate to 30 days

About the Job:

We seek a specialist with 5-7 years of experience in designing and implementing scalable IoT data solutions using AWS services. The ideal candidate should have strong Python skills and hands-on experience in data transformation and ingestion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining data engineering solutions, leveraging AWS IoT services. They will also work on building, optimizing, and automating data pipelines using Python programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and deploy scalable IoT data pipelines using AWS services.
  2. Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable Python code for data processing tasks.
  3. Monitor and troubleshoot data ingestion and processing issues to maintain system reliability.
  4. Optimize data workflows for performance and cost efficiency.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT data with analytics and monitoring platforms.
  6. Implement security best practices for IoT data handling and storage.
  7. Document solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in data engineering, preferably with AWS.
  • Strong Python skills and hands-on experience in data transformation and ingestion.
  • Experience with large-scale IoT data ingestion, processing, and storage architectures.
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to stay updated with the latest AWS IoT and data engineering technologies and best practices.
