Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineering Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering projects and be able to design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.

The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions using SQL, Databricks, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks.
  • Optimize Spark jobs and ensure efficient data processing and storage.
  • Develop and maintain Databricks notebooks, workflows, and dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Monitor and manage data processing jobs to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Stay current with the latest Databricks and big data technologies and trends.
  • Experience working in cloud platforms and familiar with cloud tools and technologies.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in development and maintenance in data engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Databricks, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Excellent communication skills.
