Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to join our team in Ahmedabad. You will be an integral component of our accounting department's support team and be responsible for ensuring the correctness and effectiveness of financial operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize various accounting software to manage and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Meet tight deadlines while handling multiple accounting tasks for management.
  • Perform essential reporting duties, including balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare and upload journal entries accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconcile bank statements, researching and recording any outstanding cash items.
  • Leverage strong Excel skills for data analysis and report preparation.
  • Prepare comprehensive management reports, such as budgets, fixed assets, and more.
  • Reconcile intercompany balances to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare month-end closing reconciliation files to support timely financial reporting.
  • Handle monthly billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analyze open items, collaborating with relevant departments to resolve issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in accounting, demonstrating strong practical skills.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Yardi, Xero, or similar platforms.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, with proven ability to manage and reconcile complex financial transactions.
