Job Title:

Senior Financial Operations Specialist

The role of a Senior Financial Operations Specialist involves driving business growth, delivering exceptional performance, and creating opportunities for future expansion in a dynamic environment.

  • Identify and develop financial analysis to drive business insights and communicate these findings to key stakeholders.
  • Partner with Commercial Heads to drive business performance by providing financial/commercial expertise and insights.
  • Oversee the delivery of financial targets and establish an effective control environment.

Responsibilities:

Performance Delivery

Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) delivery on Volume, Net Sales Value (NSV), Operational Cash, and Pricing.

Strengthen the Finance Operations & Reporting process and promote Pre- and Post-Milestone Evaluation mindset for Trade Spend investments.

Productivity

Streamline past credit forms and reduce recording timelines.

Participate in unlocking savings and ensuring hygiene by optimizing Distributor Return on Investment (ROI).

Reduce Working Capital/Provisions unlock (Overall Norms to be lower in value than last 3 years average aged inventory).

Net Revenue Management

Drive Bulk Trade Load claim process for the cluster and adopt new processes.

Involving Net Revenue Management planning, developing Pre- and Post-Milestone Evaluation Culture on Bulk Trade Load and Total Trade Spend.

Engage with Headquarters commercial teams/cross-functional teams and understand various learning formats for personal development and growth.

Pricing optimization - Volume/Value/Margin Market Share pool/Benchmarking our Pricing with Industry players based on available public information.

Business Partnering

Develop financial analyses to drive business insights and communicate these findings to key stakeholders effectively.

Partner with Commercial Heads to drive business performance by providing financial/commercial expertise and insights.

Owning the delivery of financial targets and establishing an effective control environment.

Bring strong commercial insight and judgment to decision-making.

Investment optimization, including Advertising & Promotion measurement and evaluation.

Support Cluster/Region Business Process Managers with market financials and decision-making.

Participate in pricing discussions and provide quality inputs.

BAU Operations

Credit Management – Timely MIS circulation for expected blocks, credit block release, improve credit block review system, and best utilization of resources.

Collection Management – Driving collection and reducing overdues by partnering with sales teams.

Improve Accounts Receivable ageing quality and achieve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) target through continuous monitoring.

Debtor Estimates / forecast review basis actual Debtor reports to ensure no risk in Accounts Receivable.

Timely customer reconciliation and balance confirmations.

Support RTM Changes/Annual policy changes and ensure no sales loss due to system.

Support in Representation to State Government, Excise Policy year change Invoice checking and verification to ensure billing with approved/accurate rates.

Timely month-end closing and sharing required MIS, monthly Overhead tracking.

Compliance and Governance

Ensure compliance to Credit Policy, Bulk Trade Load Policy, Total Trade Spend Policy, Statement of Account, and all commercial Central Accounting and Risk Management controls.

Risks identified through Treasury Balance review are tracked and ensured review with Regional Credit Function Head.

Any Anti-Money Laundering or legacy issues highlight with the Legal Consultant and ensure resolve.
