Leadership Position in Bid Management

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our bid management team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end bid processes for Oil and Gas, Energy, and other relevant sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender Preparation: Develop comprehensive tenders for government clients, public sector undertakings (PSUs), and private companies, including technical write-ups, cost estimations, subcontracting, joint ventures, consortium building, client liaisoning, and project management.
  • Tender Identification: Identify relevant tenders from PSUs, government agencies, and private companies through various resources and well-versed bidding processes at government/GEM portals.
  • Bid Compliance: Maintain excellent professional relationships with clients and coordinate with central functions for bid compliance (accounts, legal, FICO, etc.).
  • Execution Team Coordination: Coordinate with the execution team and maintain relationships with all external parties for bidding jobs.
  • Liaisoning and Correspondence: Liaise and engage in day-to-day correspondence along with legal contractual correspondences with customers.
  • MIS Reporting: Generate relevant MIS reports/tender tracking updates.
  • Target Achievement: Achieve order booking targets from tenders.
  • Documentation and Updating: Maintain documentation and correspondence of business development activities and update credentials on a regular basis.
  • Business Sales Forecasting: Conduct business sales forecasting.
  • New Empanelment and Renewal: Ensure new empanelment and renewal of existing ones with PSU and other agencies.

Requirements:

  • Education: B.Tech Elect/Mech + 10 years of experience in bidding/Tendering; overall 10-15 years of experience. MBA preferred.

  • Bidding & Tendering Knowledge: Knowledge of bidding & tendering activity.
  • Strategic and Analytical Ability: Strategic and analytical ability. Good writing and calculation skills.
